This is one beautiful old Ford—and it has the personality to match.

I recently acquired this 1963½ Ford Galaxie 500 XL, and I'm offering it to someone who appreciates the look, sound and attitude of the great Super Stock cars from the 1960s.
This car started life as an original C-Code Galaxie and was restored in 2016 as a tribute to the Super Stock era. Finished in Corinthian White over Rangoon Red, the color combination is absolutely stunning.

The body and paint are great driver quality, and the car has been garage kept and meticulously maintained.

Under the hood is a professionally built 428 cubic-inch Ford FE, based on a 391 block. The engine is equipped with:
* Quick Fuel 780 carburetor
* Edelbrock aluminum heads
* Edelbrock aluminum intake
* Sanderson headers
* Lake-pipe-style header dumps
* Full exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers
* Forged internals
* Upgraded rocker arms, pushrods, pistons and bearings
* Comp Cam

The 428 is backed by a Ford Top Loader 4-speed, with a Ford 9-inch rear and 4.11 gears, plus traction bars.
This combination gives the car plenty of torque and that unmistakable old-school FE sound.
Cooling is handled by a Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and the car has been sorted for reliable street driving.

* New spark plugs
* New rear drums
* Front disc brakes
* Professional mechanical inspection and service

The Rangoon Red interior is absolutely gorgeous. The seats, carpet and headliner are all exceptionally nice, and the interior has that wonderful original-style early-'60s Ford feel.
Everything works as it should—lights, blinkers, dome lights, horn, wipers, gauges, heater and glove-box light.
Turn the key and go.
This is not a car that needs a list of excuses or unfinished projects. It runs, drives, shifts, stops and sounds great.
And yes, it has the four-speed you want.
