1999 Pontiac Trans Am with the WS6 Package. The WS6 package for the Trans Am model was introduced by Pontiac in 1978. But at that time it was only a suspension and handling upgrade. That particular WS6 package was not available after 1992.
Pontiac brought back the WS6 package in 1996 and this time it included suspension, styling and a respectable power upgrade.
Thanks to a revised camshaft and a LS6 intake, horsepower and torque got a significant bump for the 1998 and later WS6 Trans Am's. The numbers went up to 325 HP and 350 torque for this 5.7 liter LS engine.
This car is an actual 1999 WS6 Trans Am with very low miles. The car has been very well taken care of. The paint is very good, the leather interior is very clean and because of the low mileage (22,490 actual miles) it drives like a new 1999 Pontiac Trans Am.
Here are some of the cool options this car has: functional Ram Air system, WS6 polished wheels, power convertible top, upgraded power disc brakes, cold blowing air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a 4 speed automatic transmission.
We replaced the battery, put on 4 brand new tires and serviced the engine.
The Trans Am model ended in 2002. These WS6 Trans Ams were the best ones they ever built. It's a cool car with a cool history. This non smoker/non pet, survivor is a nice car. They are getting harder to find.
