Take a look at this beautiful 1973 Chevy Corvette! Like most of you folks, I tend to think that any Corvette after 1971 is not really a Hot Rod. Well, this one is a Hot Rod and it is amazing! It has been fitted with a 496 CI 500 HP Stroker engine with aluminum heads. The engine has been built to run on 93 octane premium pump gas and there is still 100 to 150HP that can be extracted from that big block. This Vette came from the factory with a 454 Big block, so the rest of the drive train, including the 4 speed manual transmission, are more than capable of handling the newly added Horse power and torque.
This is a well optioned car, it has air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes front and rear, tilt and telescoping steering column, T-tops, and an upgraded Alpine stereo.
When we bought it, we put brand new BF Goodrich T/A radials all around, we replaced the A/C compressor and we replaced the brake master cylinder. It starts right up and runs and drives way better than an old Corvette should!
The odometer says 79,000 miles and is probably pretty close to that. The interior is original and is in very good condition. We removed the kick panels and the bird cage area looks very good.
The pop up head lights work and the radiator support is in perfect condition.
We have been all over this car and we love it. It's a beautiful cruiser that will melt the tires if you want to do that, too.
