THE VIN POSTED ON THIS TRUCK IS NOT THE ACTUAL VIN. This 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser VX Limited is a right-hand-drive example that was imported from Japan to the US in January 2019. The truck is finished in two-tone silver and red over gray cloth upholstery, and power is delivered to all four wheels by a 4.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a locking center differential, and a limited-slip rear differential. Equipment includes glass sunroof, a chrome brush guard, Bosch foglights, automatic front and rear climate controls, a touchscreen Kenwood stereo with Pioneer door speakers, a refrigerated center console storage, a third-row bench, and a remote start system. Service in 2020 included replacing the brakes, the distributor, a heater hose, and the air conditioning condenser along with resealing the steering knuckles. This FZJ80 is now offered with Escape Gear seat and console covers, service records, import documents, and a clean Texas title. Features include a glass sunroof, a chrome brush guard, Bosch foglights, headlight washers, a fender-mounted parking mirror, and running boards as well as sliding side windows, power-folding side mirrors, mudflaps, and tinted windows. The hood, roof, and upper fenders were refinished in 2020. It was covered with a wrap and the wrap damaged the paint when removed.
Black-finished 16″ wheels are wrapped in 275/70 Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 tires, and a matching spare is stored on a swing-away rear tire carrier. The steering knuckles were resealed and the brakes were serviced in 2020.
The cabin is upholstered in gray cloth with light grey inserts and features a third-row folding bench seat. Amenities include automatic front and rear climate controls, a touchscreen Kenwood stereo with Pioneer door speakers, a refrigerated center console, an overhead compass and altimeter.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 5,200-rpm redline and a 180-km/h speedometer. The six-digit odometer indicates 168k kilometers (~104k miles).
The 4.5-liter 1FZ-FE inline-six was factory rated at 212 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. The distributor, a heater hose, and air conditioning condenser were replaced in 2020.
