Description
The Brute Double Cab is a completely different animal. With a long, 139-inch wheelbase, the Brute Double Cab adds 23-inches to the Wrangler Unlimited's frame (in front of the rear axle). This creates, not only enough space for a double cab and bed, but enough space to mount a spare tire under the 61-inch bed. This Brute started off life as a loaded Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited JK, but was quickly transformed to arguably, a very capable off road vehicle. After the chassis was lengthened and a cored composite bed was installed, AEV Topped off the Brute with such features as a Rhino-lined bed, a 3.5 inch lift with AEV's progressive Dual Sport suspension, bilstein shocks, re-geared, larger teraflex disc brakes to accommodate 37 inch BFG tires, AEV pintler wheels, a heat reduction hood, AEV bumpers fore and aft (rear bumper has dual water tanks) and a Warn winch with synthetic rope. Now you have a vehicle that is ideal for overlanding as well as the highway. This was the first year for the double Cab Brute, the long wheel base gives a stable plush ride, the lockers, sway bar disconnect, 4;1 transfer case and 37" mud tires make this very capable off road. The fit, finish, engineering and final product represent the years of engineering and design that was put into everything they build. This one owner AEV was taken to a few Jeep Jamborees and used for its purpose. It has a few scratches on the skit plate and the left fender flare has a scuff, the wheels are perfect with no scratches. This is your opportunity to own a quality built jeep Rubicon Double Cab Brute as they are no longer offering these as of model year 2017.
